Tinted day cream with SPF for an even skin tone Melanin is a natural pigment that gives colour to skin. Exposure to sunlight, hormonal influences and ageing can cause an increase in melanin production and trigger hyperpigmentation. Hyperpigmentation appears as dark patches and age spots (also known as sun spots) that make skin look uneven. Eucerin Anti-Pigment Day SPF 30 Tinted Light contains Thiamidol, an effective and patented ingredient that acts at the root cause of hyperpigmentation by reducing melanin production. It is clinically and dermatologically proven to reduce dark spots and prevent their reappearance. First results are visible after two weeks and improve continuously with regular use. With broad spectrum UVA and UVB filters (SPF 30), this tinted moisturising day cream offers effective protection from the sun and reduces the chances of skin developing sun-induced pigment spots. Licochalcone A

Licochalcone A is a potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant active that is derived from the roots of the Chinese licorice plant Glycyrrhiza inflata. Licochalcone A protects cells from oxidative stress mediated by UV and blue light (HEVIS).

Licochalcone A is able to activate anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and detoxifying enzymes. These enzymes protect the skin cells from damage induced by oxidative stress, like lipid peroxidation and DNA as wells as protein damage. Licochalcone A is able to soothe irritated skin and redness.

Is Eucerin Anti-Pigment Day SPF 30 Tinted Light suitable for skin with pigment spots?

Yes. Eucerin Anti-Pigment Day SPF 30 Tinted Light can be used to reduce many of the different types of hyperpigmentation which include age spots (also known as sun spots).

Along with SPF 30, it also protects skin from the sun helping to reduce further sun-induced pigmentation issues. For optimal results we recommend that you use it in combination with other products in the Eucerin Anti-Pigment range.

Why does Eucerin Anti-Pigment Day SPF 30 Tinted Light contain UVA and UVB protection?

Even on cloudy days the sun’s rays can cause hyperpigmentation, photoageing (the word used to describe premature skin aging caused by the sun) and DNA damage. Find out more in how sun affects skin. Our day cream contains both UVA and UVB filters to give skin the daily protection it needs.

    Waste of money
    Super overpriced item with no effect. Used for almost an year, gave enough time but zero effect on pigmentation. Please avoid this, it’s looking all these reviews are fake or paid. I don’t know how to claim refund for this item after and year. Bought from Boots.

    Little goes a long way
    Overall a good product. Only a little bit is required otherwise it’s easy to look slightly more “Orange” than intended, but easy to include as part of daily routine. I found the product slightly tacky when applying at first but settles into skin well after a couple of minutes. No strong scents or perfumes; neutral smelling.
