Skin peel for blemish-prone skin Eucerin DermoPurifyer Oil Control Scrub is an oil-free skin peel with Lactic Acid that removes impurities without drying out the skin. Suitable for face and body, the exfoliating action of natural micro particles works against dead skin cells − one of the key causes of blackheads and spots − and gently cleanses skin and removes make-up. The product has been specially formulated for oily and blemish-prone skin which is not undergoing medication and can be used during pregnancy.

Clinical Formula

Lactic Acid

Lactic Acid is a skin’s own substance, being an essential component of the NMF (= natural moisturizing factor) as well as a AHA (=Alpha-hydroxy acid). 

Lactic Acid  acts in the stratum corneum with a two-fold effect: 

  • moisturizing: it reduces skin scaling and balances the skin’s pH value to fight dry skin symptoms
  • comedolytic: it inhibits the formation of comedones by helping the skin to shed and exfoliate and thus the pores from becoming clogged.

Micro particles

These micro particles are fine beads of Lactic Acid and cellulose that gently remove dead skin cells, open the pores and simultaneously refine the skin.

Eucerin has made a significant step towards more environmentally-friendly products and does not use any microbeads made of polyethylene (PE). The cellulose particles that we use are a mixture of microcrystalline cellulose and silicon dioxide particles. These particles are gentle and skin-friendly and deliver the same results as less environmentally-friendly micro plastic alternatives.

    Micro beads???
    I bought this recently. It’s a good product except it appears to still contain micro beads? In this day and age I’m shocked that any company would continue to use tiny bits of plastic in their products.

    Absolutely Love it!
    I absolutely love this scrub..iv got a very oily Tzone so struggle to fine something to control it all day but this really did work. I have found a new face scrub

    New face scrub
    Never heard of this brand before but it’s always good to try new things. It had a nice fresh smell and I did like the ‘beads’ in it which help to clean your face. It was a nice scrub however I didn’t feel as clean or refreshed after using it as Id hoped. I don’t think it’s claims of ‘oil control’ really worked for me which is a shame
